Here is a testimony from one of our Appalachia team members, Kaleb Krebs, about the mission trip: My experience at the 2021 Resurrection Parish Mission Trip was a fulfilling one. Having been my first time with this parish, I was a little nervous about this new adventure. However, with the help of my fellow Resurrection team and other attendees, I was able to make the transition a successful one. There were so many amazing people that made the opportunity an incredible one. I would highly recommend going if you are available the week of July 10th through 15th. Being able to serve the people of Elkins, West Virginia, and hearing their stories is truly what made the work we were doing so impactful. Spreading God’s love and generosity to others less fortunate than ourselves was so inspiring. My group site was in charge of building a deck extension onto a trailer home. While unsuccessful at first, we came together and made a beautiful deck as our finished product. Overall, I highly recommend this trip to anyone wanting to make a difference in the lives of others in need.
