A sincere debt of gratitude is owed to our 2023 Festival Coordinators, Booth Sponsors, Booth and Activity Chairs, Parish staff, and the many volunteers who have worked so hard on Summerfest. Your service to the parish is commendable, and we could not do this without all your help and selfless service. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Furthermore, the generosity of those who have donated items to the flea market, the raffles, baskets, time, and money is greatly appreciated.
Those of you who visited the festival have seen our dedicated and hard-working parishioners in action. However, there are many more people involved behind the scenes who have dedicated countless hours of service to the parish. There are people who have cooked and baked, set-up and torn down, cleaned and counted money, and have given their time to assist. There are also many more parishioners who have given of their resources to help make Summerfest such a successful yearly event. Thank you to all those who have worked so hard on this event.
More than merely raising funds for the parish, Summerfest is our largest community gathering. It is a week to celebrate our love for one another and for the parish. The festival is a chance to meet friends old and new, and to have an outreach to the greater community. The service, joy, and care that we have for each other is a great evangelization tool, and it permits those who visit to have a positive encounter with the Catholic Church and with our Lord Jesus Christ.
May God bless the work of our hands, and may we truly keep the desire to serve at the center of our parish. Thank you to one and to all!
