My name is John Schwalm and I have the pleasure of serving as the business manager for our Parish. In my role as business manager, I oversee the financial and administrative operations of the Parish and work closely with Fr. Mike and our other parish leaders to develop and implement strategies that will help us better serve our community. This includes reviewing our budget and financial statements, identifying areas where we can save money, and exploring new sources of revenue to support our programs and ministries.
I am also highly involved in the many events our Events and Development Coordinator, Bridget, shared with you just a few weeks ago. Our Parish Fish Fry was a great success and contributed tremendously to our overall parish budget. I look forward to seeing even more success during our upcoming SummerFest, which will be held on June 19th – June 24th.
I am committed to fostering a culture of transparency and accountability within Resurrection Parish. This means that I will be working closely with our staff and volunteers to ensure that we are following best practices and using our resources wisely. As part of this effort, please keep an eye out for weekly parish financial updates that I will be providing as a new addition to our bulletin.
